NakedPrice shows property estimates and statistics generated from publicly available data. Browsing the site and viewing estimates does not require, and we do not collect, any personal data about you.
There is a single activity on this website that processes personal data: estimate-suppression verification. This policy is about that activity. It does not apply to the estimation product, which processes no personal data about visitors.
If you ask us to hide our estimate for a property (see clause 5 of the Terms of Use), you upload a document to prove you own it — a TR1 transfer form or a mortgage statement naming you and the property. That document may contain personal data, such as your name and the property address. We use it for one purpose only: to verify that you own the property so we can action your request.
The document is reviewed for verification only and is deleted immediately once we have made our decision. We do not keep copies, and we do not use it for anything else. All we retain afterwards is the suppression decision itself — that the estimate for a given property is hidden — and the date of that decision. We do not retain your identity or the document.
We do not sell or share the document or its contents. We do not use it for marketing. We do not profile you.
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including to ask for a copy, correction, or erasure, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Because we delete verification documents as soon as a decision is made, we ordinarily hold no personal data about you after that point.
NakedPrice's ICO data-protection registration is being put in place; the registration reference will be shown here once complete. Until the suppression-verification flow is live, no such documents are processed.
